A Type 1 Diabetes Awareness Stall was installed by the Project team in conjunction
with the Diabetes Awareness Programme, organized by Roche Pakistan Ltd.
Educational literature on Type 1 Diabetes and information leaflets about Insulin
my life, were kept at the stall. The Project team, lead by the Project Director,
Prof. Yakoob Ahmedani was present at the Stall.
A large number of people attending the awareness programme visited the IML stall.
The visitors took keen interest in the project and it’s various activities. Informative
literature was distributed to the visitors and their queries were replied. The Project
team explained the aims and objectives of IML and the services & facilities provided
by it.

The legendary cricket player and former captain of Pakistan Team, Wasim Akram, who
was the chief guest at the awareness Programme, visited the IML stall and remained
with the project team for sometime. He enquired about Insulin my life with interest
and generously appreciated the efforts of Insulin my life, for the improvement of
Type 1 Diabetes care in the province.
